Though, why would you want FRLG remakes? I don't really see why revisiting Kanto again is worth it when FR/LG is pretty solid and the most hackable of games so it has a lot of patches to make it like later hacks.
Plus I don't find it likely for them to have the Sevii Islands given what happened to the Frontier. Nobody said they're going to be based off FRLG, expect people to clamor "they're just Red/Green remakes :^)" like with ORAS and RS.
