Both. The moves would be as powerful as in the anime but they have PP and the Pokémon are as strong as they are in the game, statistically talking.

Mewtwo could just levitate and blast all the others away, and he probably doesn't need to use all his PP either, if we're going by movie standards.

Also the fact that psychic type would be as OP in real life as it was in Gen 1, maybe more, since you can use it offensively and defensively.

It's impossible to win then, Rattata will stall out everyone's PP except Pidgeotto, even after beting the Rattata the rest of them would be defeated by Mewtwo the others.

Change earthquake to rock slide and its GG.
