Why is Alakazam the only Pokémon that doesn't get a 100 BST boost when megaing?

Programmer's oversight. He had an increase in SpDef, and that most likely used up the first 10 points.

Alakazam, alongside others like Clefable were amongst the few early generation Pokemon to receive a 10 point buff into one of his stats.
This probably happened after the debut of M-Zam happaned, meaning M-Zam's stats were probably have already been decided upon and they were +100 from the regular Zam at the time.

It's not an "excuse", that's just the most likely explanation for Alakazam's case. It was just a mistake.
Ampharos having a full 100 increase on its BST just means the oversight that happened with Alakazam didn't happen with Ampharos.

It will probably be fixed next gen anyway.

I wouldn't say it's shit, but it NEEDS a better offensive movepool. The grand-wizard of superior intellect in the Poke-verse not getting any of Ice Beam, T-Bolt, Flamethrower, etc. is bullshit.

How is Mismagius movpool shit? It gets Nasty Plot and unresisted coverage in STAB Ghost, Fairy, and Rock. It even gets Hex, Thunderbolt, and Energy Ball which Delphox lacks. Mismagius is leagues better as a wizard than shitfox is.
