Objectively all POKEMON games are mediocre or shit. I love them, but in the same way I'd love a retarded brother. Don't expect much from the series.

I bought Alpha Sapphire and passed it but didn't bother with the Delta Episode. Same with the Looker quests in XY. Theres no fucking purpose.

All the starters after Gen 4 have sub-par designs. I think their adherence to the established fire, water, grass paradigm really hurt them.

I think the Ruby/Sapphire engine is better than the FireRed/LeafGreen engine. This has nothing to do with my likes/dislikes of certain regions, I just find the battle and overworld navigations and such better in R/S.

I also kind of enjoyed dubbedDiamond and Pearl.

I at least try keep them legit and fair by adding a few mediocre IVs
