I'd say remove Lickitung line, Tangela line, Electabuzz line, only keep 1 starter of each type (Meganium, Samurott + Delphox?), remove Carnivine, Diggersby, Rilou+Lucario, Moltres.

It could be more than 150 though, also, what do you think of >>23155802

I can continue and organize the dex for you guys, just tell me where we should start or continue.

For example, an even starter-triangle with no huge leaps in BST or unfair ways to evolve faster than the others.

If they're gonna include legendaries why not mew, celebi, jirachi, shaymin, etc. Since it's rare to get them in game for most people. Make shaymin, manaphy, victini the trio if necessary

Not the "Comfydex", but here's a dex I've refined for the past couple of months. I don't plan for this one to have 251 mons (151 is fine, unless we're absolutely sure there are 251 "comfy" Pokemon which exist or we really need the type balance), but I've dabbled in teams and movepools.

I think the game should be a little easier, but I'm not sure if "comfy" means "somewhat difficult but manageable" like here.

I think the Kalos starters are the comfiest, personally. Froakie and Fennekin lines obviously, Chespin because it has that "gentle giant" vibe.
