Also, I'm not a weeaboo, but of course, only actual weeaboos use the word "weeb". I studied Japanese at university. I'm not claiming to be fluent or anything. I'm not. But in case you think some of what I said was weeaboo-speak, you should realise that there are at least a few references to things in there. Some people like doing such a thing when they write, and I'm one of them. If anything, I suppose you could say it's nerdy.
As for the pronunciation of "Arceus", your argument makes no sense.
They have two different pronunciations in the anime, with the original being the Japanese one, and arguably the correct one. They changed it for political correctness.
It's hard to argue that it is a "canon pronunciation" when there are two different pronunciations in that canon. The best argument would be that the original one is more likely correct because it is also used in Japanese, but since there is a second pronunciation in English it doesn't really make the other one wrong. It just... doesn't make it as correct, I suppose.
