Any fellow Hydreigon fans? He was my favorite bro last gen, and was immediately excited to use him when he was revealed before the games came out. Being the first pseudo-legendary with an emphasis on Special Atk was a neat twist, too.

In-game, it's a mixed bag of wonder and horror. Deino and Zweilous' evolution levels are just ridiculous, so I didn't get to use it until post-game. If not for Conkeldurr, Ghetsis' Hydreigon would have ended me, and I've enjoyed watching other players get frustrated cycling between death fodder and healing items trying to beat it.

I used it in every competitive team I made in gen 5, with great success as a beastly wallbreaker or scarfed revenge killer. It's a shame he took such a massive hit as ultimate wallbreaker this gen with the introduction of those wuss pixies, but he can still simply U-turn away or smack them upside the head with Iron Tail if necessary.

Also, his Pokemon Amie animation is fucking adorable.
