That games have almost no difference with X/Y singleplayer-wise. Plus, by buying those games you're validating GF's laziness.

But no game so far outside of Emerald has differed from the normal single player experience and even then that only applied to three facilities in the battle frontier, everything else has been the same over these years.

Also I find it ironic that people call GF lazy nowadays when they've added some features useful to the player and not just taking two years to add visual gimmicks.

I held off getting a 3DS and XY was a bit meh (wasn't a fan of Mega Evolution) so I waited.

Then ORAS was announced and I was all FUCKYEAHTAKEMYMONEY until I found out they left out the Battle Frontier. I was so pissed I just didn't bother getting it then.

So here I am, hoping against hope that they ressurect the franchise and don't keep going down the smartphone game route with the games.

Arbitrary level grinding requirement. getting your Pokemon to a level where you can challenge the gyms and guarantee success is frustrating. Because the Pokemon gym leader has a team that significantly higher than the level of the Pokemon in the surrounding area
