The post game of Pokemon is more catching, trading, evolving, completing the dex, and multiplayer battles. On top of that, there is almost always a battle tower/Maison situation.

There are so many hours of gameplay and tasks packed in to these games that I can't believe people still complain.

Dude, I got all the gold symbols of Emerald BF when I was 11.
Dome, Pike, the Factory and the Pyramid were god tier, and I don't regreat any second of my walkthrough here because the battles against the leaders were from me the best fun I had in any pokemon game.
Maybe there is nostalgia, but BF is truly not shit, in any way.

The only thing I honestly miss from the Frontier was the Battle Pyramid for that adventure setting and the Factory to try new things.

The Tower is replaced by the Maison, get over it. The PWT replaced the Dome as a whole: Same mechanics, but a lot of characters in it instead of random NPC saying silly things.

The others facilities were "meh"... But the Palace can burn in hell. Fuck that thing.

On that note I like how people are angry about the tower not being in despite the maison being a direct upgrade to it.

Also the Arena had a survival mechanics if I remember right and the pike was the easiest to go through because you could entirely avoid battles outside of Lucy, it was by far the most boring and people only loved it for Lucy and the outside design.

Sure, in the Dome they said to you the "battle-style" of the NPC and such. But it was just a novelty thing.

Now I remember that you register just three Pokémon and choice two for battle, were it didn't matter if was Single or Double Battles. This said, most people always complain about "m-muh 6v6", in the PWT you can have 6v6 battles, so, going by that, it should be better for them.

This would be a good argument if the PWT were in ORAS.

Honestly if the PWT replaced the Dome in a hypothetical Delta Emerald with a Frontier I'd be completely fine with it as long as they brought in the "bring 3, pick 2" rule from the Dome.

OP confirmed for someone who has never played Emerald. That or blatant shitposter. Does the Maison have Pyramid style mazes to explore? What about rentals or tourneys where you have to choose two pokemon each? I wouldn't say completely, unless you save scum you're only told about one of the doors, and there's no door that guarantees you won't have a battle (except the room where you risk being statused). Someone knowledgeable at the game can minimize the risk so you'll have runs with only 1-2 battles sometimes and maybe with the right luck no battles, but you're going to battle someone eventually because you're only given so much information.

The Battle Frontier sucked and people only found it difficult because they could't have pokemon like the ones the trainers and Brains had. If it were in ORAS we would have constant threads like "ORAS is shit because they made this easier" in stead of realizing that it was always short and easy.
In other words those fond memories you have of it being difficult only exist because you sucked at the game and the mechanics were bad.

I've been playing the Frontier again because someone made this claim and I found it a good point, using Pokésav to make top-tier (legal) teams, and I can say it's not like that. Shit like Tucker's Quick Claw Metagross will fuck you up, I'm still grinding out the Battle Dome without getting the gold symbol and I've put about ten hours into it so far.

Speaking of which, I've been trying to use a Dugtrio to take out his Metagross but due to Quick Claw he keeps hitting first and OHKO'ing. What's a good Gen 3 check for Metagross that can afford to take hits and can eventually kill it?

For the last time anon, and I mean all of you:

Battle Tower / Frontier / Subway / Maison

Are not post-game. They are END-GAME content. Yes, you can only access them after you beat the story. However, just because you beat the game doesn't mean you can march on in and destroy these places. You're gonna need to breed, collect items, train, visit newly unlocked places, and all of that other shit before you'll be somewhat good to go. It's like maxing out in an mmo, only then will you have little left to do but take on the toughest challenges.
