What does Charizard have to do with giving him a pseudo legend or not? If you're saying he can only have one powerful poke at a time, then I'm pretty sure Johto had no powerful pokes at all, certainly not one that stood out above the rest. For those that do, Charizard was not seen for all DP, not even the League. (I know that he did get a pseudo here, too, but did not fully evolve it and it was more like the late arc random capture) I do not believe Charizard's presence prevented anything. Usually, whenever Char shows up, it is also late in the arc when all of his capturing is done. I do not even believe that the matter that Char could be called at any time affected anything. If all of that was true, then why the heck did they let Ash have a full evolved pseudo now? There was once a time when I would've applauded such a thing, but now, I don't find it of any importance whatsoever. Not to mention that it's considered to be the weakest pseudo ever, apparently even by TCPI themselves. Either way, though, it's not like Ash hasn't had super powerful pokemon before. Maybe I'm just down on pseudos in general; a pokemon is a pokemon. Anyway, Char had nothing to do with why it took this long.
