All three of those are so much better in FRLG and it's not close. Unless you're a nostalgiafag, the FRLG soundtrack is 10x better.

They weren't too fond of the soundtrack because of the ludicrous amount of trumpets

I personally didn't mind it too much and barely even noticed the entire OST was trumpet riddled until people pointed it out online.

Yeah, but that's made made it unique from the other soundtracks. The best music in the series was from RSE at Mt. Chinmey and Mt. Pyre's Peak.

There weren't that much trumpets though? The soundtrack had a lot more French horns than trumpets, heck, there were even more string ensembles than trumpets, but people are too fucking ignorant and think every brass instrument is a trumpet.
