Hey /vp/, I've been a long time Pokemon fan, but after the last two Pokemon spin-off games being announced, I think I'm going to bow out.
>RNG wars still have no changes in sight
>Turning full titles into free2pay
>PMD in the shitter and likely to go free2pay
>Paying to transfer between generations (moreso the concept than the fee itself)
>Singleplayer post-game in the shitter
>Singleplayer pre-ending trivial 100% of the time even with self-imposed challenges
>The looming threat of free2pay in the main series
>Main game balancing in the shitter
>Kalos being considered acceptable for release
It's really just too much. I still appreciate Pokemon as a concept, but no longer as a video game. I'm done with buying games (at least until things look up again).
