Mewtwo's megas are just minor sidegrades you're not supposed to use unless the other five mons do not contain a mega yet. Life Orb does the job just fine.

Sad thing is, Absol highly benefits from the Mega and gains a fuckton more speed and offenses. There are just way better megas out there to take advantage of.

What ability/moves apart from the obviously overpowered ones would make Absol worth the Mega slot?
Or is it be forever damned by its poor defenses?

I find it hilarious how good can Mega Lopunny be. It can deal with most of the mainstream Pokemon from Battle Spot on its own, mostly because of its ability, yet no one uses it. I guess everyone at Battle Spot are too scared to try new things.
