I figured this wouldn't really fit for /cgl/ and I don't really think this would work for most of the generals we have, but I'm doing a Cheren cosplay soon and want to build a proper team in case I get challenged or something.

I also kind of wanted to prepare the same team for potentially doubles too if I get challenged to that. I figure most singles will be 3v3 or I won't actually need to use all my Pokemon effectively against a con-goer.

I want input on how close to the source it should be, because I do want to be able to win sometimes and not have to use fucking surf haxorus, but I don't want to just make it so I have a team of whatever the fuck.

I was thinking of sticking to just Gen 5 Pokemon, no legendaries, maybe at least half are normal types.
