People severely overestimate Arceus's power just because it's "the God" pokemon.
Arceus is very good, don't get me wrong. Base 120 in every stat is absolutely amazing. But something will always do a better job as a sweeper because it has better attacking stats, and something will always be able to out-tank it because it has better defensive stats.
Arceus does what it does best, and that's being well rounded. A jack of all trades, but a master of none.
