Some of those Pachirisu varieties are so cute I might just make a texture edit for ORAS.

>>23179500Most people just take the animal or object a Pokemon is based on and try to envision it as similar but still different things. Goldeen and Seaking you could draw as different breeds of goldfish, such as Lionheads or Celestials, for instance. Or even just think of different colorations and adaptations. Take Furfrou for example. There's already all the different cuts, but you could make toy, mini, standard variants, colors like phantom poodles or apricot, etc. Or Gourgeists based on different types of pumpkins and squashes. Most people just draw what they'd like to see.
