It's a mixed bag. Pokemon overall look whited out now. But then you have examples of pokemon getting better color palettes over time like Garchomp's and Espeon's shinies.

G/S Sneasel's coloring was what made it my favorite Pokemon. When I saw the color was actually different (I think on a TCG card or something) a part of me died.
