So I just bought this piece of shit, but no matter what firmware I try to install on it whenever I turn on my DS it just gets stuck on the loading screen. Could anyone here tell me what i'm doing wrong? I just wanna be able to play over a few Pokemon games on my DS again without having to erase my save file. All help is appreciated. Thanks in avdance anons.

1. Go download the latest firmware from the site on the box.
2. Format your sd card (if you already downloaded your games save them to a folder and call it Games)
3. Install the firmware into the sd
4. Put your games in the sd
5. Eject and put it into the cart
Sauce is frim anon who has 3 of these for trading starters and whatnot inbetween gen4/5 games.

My first R4 was working fine in the beginning, then suddenly it got stuck on the black loading screen permanently. Had to get a new one.

You should've just bought a r4i-sdhc 3DS. They're roughly the same price or cheaper than that one, they work wonders on the 3DS, plus you get neato extras like save states. You probably just need to format the microSD though. If not, try running it on another DS. These little shits tend to get picky over time AND NEVER TRY TO UPDATE YOUR 3DS/DSI WITH IT ON THE SLOT OR ELSE YOU'LL FRY 'EM UP happened to me like 3 times.

That is the only downside to owning one though. It might be expensive but it works on the 3ds and can play DS, GBA, NES, MAME, Game boy/color and atari games flawlessly. Then it can play play some sega genesis, SNES, neo geo games with a some problems with lag or audio errors but the emulators are supposedly still being worked on. Then it plays some video files, mp3s and can even read ebooks.

Basically it lets you play all kinds of shit and you can edit the skins as well if you like customization. It's easily worth the price of a 3ds cartridge.

Looks like the Supercard team has discontinued the dstwo and is working on a 3ds flash card. The only place I'm finding them now is this on this link.

Unfortunately they doubled the price tag, probably because the cart's no longer made.

Bummer. It was truly the best ds flashcart to ever be made. Now people will have to settle for a sub par flash cart instead. It me reminds me of the situation with the ez flash 4 on the gba only being available now while the superior M3 was discontinued and copies seized.

That's because for some retarded reason the firmware has the default gba emulator settings at skip 2 frames per second. Change that to zero skipping and it runs smooth.

It's going to be pretty hard to get a supercard dstwo now that they discontinued it. Unfortunately acekard 2i is the best of the sub par flash carts that's still easily available.
