Because Stadium models look like total shit.

They used them up until Battle Revolution, and the older Pokemon looked really shitty compared to the newer ones because of it. They didn't make new models for the older Pokemon until Pokedex 3D.

Yeah, the model for Armaldo looks stouter than the artwork.

And Eelektross is too small in Gen VI, but only in battle, the model looks fine in the Pokedex. But both pale compared to Pokedex 3D Pro's version.
