Anyways as a top local smash player smogon is by far the worst competitive community to exist. The community is inclusive and based entirely on dickriding rather than actual skill, said inclusive community (read: circlejerk) bans anything that they can't beat without letting users who don't participate in the jerk vote, and their rules aren't even used for the vast majority of tournaments outside of their website since they're so shitty. They're a competitive power who only extends over retards.
Calling smogon competitive is a stretch even. play VGC if you want a real competitive scene.
