It's setup. Setup is still a pain in VGC. All it would really do is bump Sand/Hail users and Mold Breakers up in usage.

But that would take 16 turns to kill balloon minum. Crafty Shield/mental herb makes it so you can't be taunted, the former is higher priority than fake out, and Shedinja can't be faked out in the first place. It sounds much easier than most regular setup

yes but minun is the classic example now after this strategy worked on Redew, a smogon mod who also happens to be a gigantic faggot. Mere mentions of that battle in his presence will get you banned even to this day as he is STILL butthurt about it
