So apparently the final balloon to unlock costs 100 poké diamonds, the Origin Balloon.
And at end-game this takes 6 hours to recharge. Or you play 3 poké diamonds to play immediately.
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015-04-08-are-pokemon-rumble-worlds-microtransactions-a-shakedownIt'll normally cost £0.69 to buy 50 poké diamonds, or 1750 for £14.39.
The later option for the same number of diamonds is 60% of the cost, which is a considerable saving.
If you go with the latter option, which might be the expected cost of a more fleshed out download game, every 3 poké diamonds costs £0.02.
Two pennies to play the level again.
Or four pennies if you went for the £0.69 option.
It stands to reason that this is a way fucking better microtransaction model than Pokémon Shuffle. How many times are you gonna play the same level? Maybe 4-5 times to round up most of the pokémon, 10 to try and catch the boss or a legendary event pokémon?
Compare this to Pokémon Shuffle's Gems system, where you could buy a gem for £0.89 and exchange it for only 5 plays, which would have recharged over 150 minutes anyway.
This model is letting you avoid a 6 hour wait for just 4p at the smallest purchase.
This game also looks to have a lot more content than Pokémon Rumble Blast with every form of every currently released pokémon, but it looks like the battle areas are heavily recycled from the same game.
