You know, say what you want about Pokemon, but at the very least it treats its mascot-mon with dignity.
Have you seen YW's nekomata? Holy shit that guy has like plenty of variants.
The worst Pokemon has is merely inspiring a new mon based on Pikachu's aesthetics (Pikaclone), but not outright making "Pikachu: Ground/Electric edition".
Even Digimon did this with Agumon.
