Post-game, however, isn't and varies depending on which Pokemon game you're playing. That's why people hold post-game in Pokemon at such high regard. You get a different experience depending on the game. in GSC/HGSS, you get to visit another region, in Emerald you get the Battle Frontier, in BW2 you get PWT and other parts of Unova to visit, and so on.
Bottom line, saying the post-game isn't important in a Pokemon game is stupid. Would GSC be praised so much if it didn't allow you to visit Kanto?
