We already know Gen V remakes will be shit anyways, so I'm just seeing everything the new games have until I finally have faith in GF again. I just want to finally get the Original Dragon and some new Megas for older evolutionary lines.

That's kind of the point. He was at his prime in BW while battling to salvage his keikaku. By the time you battle him in BW2, his life's work was shat on AND his backup plan just failed. The music reflects his deteriorating sanity.
