Why don't more Grass-types learn Earth Power? Since Sunflora gets it, why not guys like Vileplume or Lilligant?

Because Gamefreak has this mindset that Grass types should be support and defensive inclined instead of offensive. And it really doesn't help when they make sweepers like Serperior and Lilligant but decide to give them non existent coverage like most mono-grass.

Gen 7 revamping Nature Power to automatically turn into Earth Power would be a miracle for all grass types that learn it, and other pokemon begging for ground coverage(Florges)

Would partially fix that shitmon Typhlosionand Memegant too, Sceptile would have an easy life aswell. Kinda scary, also Heatran may bypass Bisharp's Sucker Punch if it happens to have enough speed. How scary.

But I'd be overall more happier for Virizion and Vileplume.

Because Game Freak hates giving good moves to a lot of Pokemon. Same with Aura Sphere too, give more Pokemon a reliable Special Fighting type move.

Whimisicott gets Fake Tears though which is an non-damaging Acid Spray but is only immune on Clear Body users. It could weaken Ground-weak mons on their switchins or if its in a sub and bop them with a priority Earth Power while their special defense is reduced by 2 stages. That's pretty fucking terrifying.
