>>23213197Yeah, that's true enough, but the normal game of Emerald was very different from ORAS, something which Yellow and Crystal can't say, which is why they didn't get remakes, or why the little bits from Crystal were integrated into HGSS because the story didn't change. Hoenn was a vastly different animal in that respect. You don't know that they won't do it, and I don't know that they will. It's merely a pipe dream that they really *should* do, but not something I think that they *will* do.
Whichever way it goes, I'm not actually expecting much. Kalos was boring as FUCK. The only reason I enjoyed it the first time around was getting to see all the Pokemon in glorious 3D in a main series game for the first time and being able to customize my trainer, which shortly after I started revealed itself to be very lacking for males. After that wore off I realized that the region was almost painfully small for something that was advertised as huge, the different towns had almost zero distinguishing characteristics outside of the Laverre, Lumiose and Snowbelle, the leaders were 2-dimensional (literally) as hell instead of being interesting, fleshed-out characters like the last couple gens, the gym buildings themselves were incredibly bland instead of interesting structures, and it was piss easy. Unless they really pull out something spectacular, like a challenge mode and/or dual release with DE alongside it, I don't see how they're gonna salvage the steaming heap that was Kalos.
