It's cool, provided you exploit one of its abilities. Quick Feet is a good example, but you must either be Toxic'd or Burnt with only Facade as an option. Same for guts, except burning actually HELPS you.
Baton-Passing it a speed boost is probably the only way it will ever be useful. It's a shame, considering its vast movepool of quirky options in Close Combat, Play Rough, Thrash, Night Slash, and the elemental punches.
That being said, I love its design. I love the movepool. I love the admittedly lime-puke green shiny. I love the fact that it's a bear. Most importantly, I grew up with it. I even had one from Emerald's safari zone to OR. It's kinda shitty these days, but damn it, I love the bear.
