There was a thread about this recently but I didn't really stick around to see what anyone said about the matter but, what ability would be better on tyrantum? The versatility of strong jaw, or rock head for the insane damage of head smash?

I would want to have a powerhouse tyrantrum. I like strong jaw since can make use of alot of moves that could be bred to know, but at the same time I like the damage it could shit out from head smash. It's a dilemma I have. Have a variety of fang moves do more damage (especially poison fang), or get damage from the gods with head smash.

Strong Jaw is cool if you care about coverage, but it's really just kinda underpowered with how much you can steamroll with rock head and the high-power recoil moves

Poison Fang is actually one of it's worse coverage options. STAB Stone Edge hits the same BP as a SE Poison Fang even after the Strong Jaw boost. Its not worth it.

If you want a powerhouse Tyrantrum then go with Rock Head. Head Smash does more damage than super effective fang moves boosted by Strong Jaw.
Head Smash - 225 BP
Elemental Fangs - 97,5 BP (SE - 195 BP)

So you would only want to use Fire Fang for Scizor/Ferrothorn or Ice Fang for Garchomp/Gliscor/Landorus.

Tyrantrum
Ability: Rock Head
Level: 50
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 220 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Earthquake
- Head Smash

Picture shows what you can outspeed with 220 EV and 252 EV in speed.

Choice Scarf sets prefer Fire Fang or Dragon Claw to Dragon Dance. You could experiment with Poison Fang I guess.
