Pic related is the sprites from Bistro Recipe. It started as an anime and spawned two games. None of them ever left Japan, but they apparently still have a cult following there.
Every single one is themed after a food item, and the "type chart" is based on types of food, with types like "Egg" and "Rice".
I'm thinking about trying one of the games out, but they were never translated, even by fans. Not sure I can handle the moon runes.
