i will rate the 'luxray should be electric/dark' meme.
you could make a case that it looks like a dark type (dark color, looks mad most of the time), and that it learns a few dark type moves here and there.
however, most dark pokemon at the core are sneaky and use cheap tactics (evil type, etc), or are associated with shadows and have something sinister about them. it's also kind of a 'brutal' type, along with dragon and fighting. judging from pokedex entries, luxray seems nothing more than a mere electric lion. with x-ray vision.
i don't think anybody is arguing that the entire line should be -dark, so we can look at corphish/skorupi, which are kind of already little assholes. also corphish has something that says how adaptable it is. the only thing that really makes luxray 'darker' as it grows from shinx is its colour scheme.
it's a bit of a mixed issue, but i can see why GF kept it an electric type. a dark mega might not be such a bad idea, but that all depends on the design, maybe it just became evil through mega, who knows.
this meme's getting a 4/10.
