So, what country do you want the next region to be based off?

I am hoping for Scotland, Korea, or somewhere in China (the country is too big so they should separate it like they did with Japan and America).

Iberian peninsula would be the best ever. Portugal+Spain, large coast but not endless chunks of water a la Hoenn.

Surf South for Morocco (desert area).

Northeast, mountains (Pyrenees) separating this area from Kalos (France).

Balearic Islands, Madeira and Azores for side quest islands and battle frontier.

Serra da Estrela could be the zone for ice pokemon.

Beautiful cities to explore with themes from Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Porto, Lisboa, the warm south beaches...

A regions based on the Indonesia/Oceanic area with chains of islands.

Better surf animations so Pokemon can have a dedicated overworld sprite for surf. Bring back multiple Dive areas and underwater caves.

Storms that occur irregularly making certain paths on land and sea difficult to travel and flood certain areas bringing rare mons out of hiding.

Also South Africa seems already cancer, first black characters, muh filthy terrorist Mandela references, AIDS and crimes everywhere. No thanks. I'm sure we can find another region for a white shark Pokemon and such.

South and Central America amd Australia are probably the best candidates for the southern emisphere and all have good post game location opportunities where Africa has like Madagascar and Arabi Peninsula only.

I personally would like to see some new megas for shitnond too in let's say Amazonia, or a Mega Kangaskhan champion in Australia. If no tropical and south emisphere than I would not mind the Central Asia, Russia and Korean area including Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar etc and even some of the south east Asia.

China would be the best because of its diversity and architecture. It would have technologically advanced cities on one side and then small Tibetan villages on the other. Wildlife and climate is diverse enough too. I don't want another European place that's for sure.

I'd like to see the U.S./Canada Pacific Northwest. It's distinct enough from the Northeast so as not to be a retread of Unova, and it's got very interesting cities, geography, and culture to base a region off of. And it's got enough real-world interaction with Japan (lots of immigration, for example) that they could do some interesting connections with the first four regions.

By the way I'm not actually from that area. I just think it would be a good basis for a region.

They will not make a region based on a location that doesn't have a strong Pokémon relationship. Japan made Pokémon. USA popularized it for the rest of the world. France has a good localization team.

It's not going to be a third world country. It will probably be Canada, UK, Germany, or maybe a revisit to Japan or the US.
