>>23234509>It's not a fucking integral part of the experience. It is, since the beginning to the end, they make it clear that one of the game's goal is catching them all. The one theme consistent throughout all the mainline games is developing affection/friendship with your own pokemon and not just using the powerful ones.
Also, it's the headline of the fucking game.
So yes, it's pretty integral.
>Did you bitch in the past about how your full price game didn't include a second gameboy to transfer your old mons?I bitched that they did not include every pokemon to be catchable in a cart
I mean, nintendo created a dumb solution (GB link) to a problem they themselves created in the first place: why not just fucking let every pokemon obtainable in the first place? Did you thank your lord and saviour nintendo when they were able to sell you the trading accessory, thinking it was the only thing they could possibly do to "fix" this "problem"? You do realize they intentionally did this to bank on the profits of the accessory in itself, don't you?
It's the same exact shit as the pokebank. Artificially cripple the game so you can sell the addon service/peripheral to make more money, or as I said, fixing a problem you created yourself in the first place.
And you are DEFENDING them for doing so.
>A single game purchase has never let you catch every pokemonMafia has always killed people for money, we should stop trying to persecute them.
