So, /vp/, I've worked out the requirements for a "perfect" pokemon region name, based upon tendencies in the names already. There are occasional outliers, but the tendencies are really strong just about everywhere. These trends are only counted if 4/6 regions or more follow them. The trends are based on the English names.
Here's the gist of it:
>2 vowels, 3 consonants
>Begins with a consonant
>Must include the letter 'O'
>Must include one singular letter that hasn't been seen in a previous region name. This letter should in all cases be the first letter or the third letter. It can be the fourth if absolutely necessary.
>The vowels can be a maximum distance of two and a minimum distance of 1 letters away from each other

So, /vp/, go forth and make not-shitty region names for your rom hacks.
