>Meet Elm and thanks you with starter, suggests Johto Gym challenge
>High level wild/trainer pokemon scaled to your expected levels at that stage (e.g. level 45+ pokemon at Route 29 and getting higher)
>Variety of double/triple/rotation/inverse battles with Mega pokemon included
>Ultra hard Johto Gym Leaders
>Pokeathlon games
>You complete the Johto resurgence Team Rocket events that the HGSS protag would have
>Lugia/Ho-Oh events as normal
>GS Ball time travel Celebi event shenanigans that allows to complete HGSS time travel events
>By the time you return to the E4, the Johto E4 are in place
