There's just gotta be a running joke around the anime's directors that Ho-Oh will NEVER EVER be in a movie even when it clearly is supposed to be. Remember when the 13th movie was teased to be Lugia Vs. Ho-Oh and then all we got was failed Lucario rehash with event legendary promotions? At least as far as we know they aren't pulling another Mewtwo and creating a second Arceus. So there's a good chance we're getting the same Creation Trio. Too bad the entire Tao Trio is in though otherwise we could have gotten Movie Kyurem back to fuck shit up. It'd be nice if Movie Lugia also got disturbed again because the movies a clusterfuck anyway might as well make Hoopa disturb the harmony of blah blah blah.

If this movie is in canon with Movies 10, 11 and 12, then Palkia, Dialga, Giratina and Arceus would all be relatively friendly with one another and not fight; you'd have a situation where those four would all know Ash and respect him. Realistically speaking all 4 of those pokemon are singular deities in the anime universe, there shouldn't be more than 1 of each and Ash saved all 4 at one point or another.

I could see how putting Groudon and Kyogre near each other would create a fight; and the 3 Tao dragons would probably fight. But there is literally no excuse for the Creation trio to fight unless its to break up the other fights or they're being controlled by some kind of foul magic.

Groudon and Kyogre were probably already in the middle of a fight before they got dragged off and probably just continue on without caring.

Based on what little we've seen the only conclusion I can make is Dialga and Giratina might be working together in some capacity given they do appear together and Palkia is clearly not on Lugia's side. Who knows maybe they don't get dragged in after all. Maybe there's another Sheena who can call upon them and does so to try and contain the mess Hoopa's making before calling Arceus.

I feel like Gen 5 anime was a fuck you to the games trying to mature. The games made the protagonists older, and what did the anime do? Took the only loli in the fucking game, a gym leader who wasnt even the leader for both versions, and made her the companion instead.

Its a shame that Roxie wasnt in B/W, they prolly woulda used her instead. That might have been interesting, but at the very least, we woulda got some amazing porn. Oh well.

Yeah, things were interesting in Sinnoh. The league was actually interesting as fuck and still has /vp/ talking about how Ash shoulda won. Ash was developing, the series was maturing (dat Hunter J arc), and the movies were the best theyde ever been, with a full trilogy revolving around the Poke Gods.

Zoroarks movie was a lovely swan song and farewell to Brock/Dawn, two of the best characters in the anime. The credits were feelsy as fuck. Id urge everybody to stop watching the anime there, because the BW anime took 10 fucking steps back, and I dont believe the anime will ever recover. Its doomed. Even when you think its improving, its still a shell of what the anime could have been.

Sinnoh was a shining hope that the anime could be good with a little push, but nope, they went full retard.

Keldeo movie managed to be the worst yet, of 15 movies at the time, which is saying somethingconsidering the movies are usually pretty shit anyway.

The anime is a fuckawful representation of the franchise too. I feel embarassed when people tell me they saw pokemon on tv, and recognised it as a game i played.

Yeah, they prolly realized they had no plausible way of having Ash loose because he was genuinely doing fantastic. So they suprised people with some legendfag, to continue Ash's journey for another generation, which would have been ok kf the series kept improving at the rate it was in Sinnoh.

But that didnt happen, we got BW instead, and now literally nobody cares if Ash wins the league anymore because nobody could stomache sitting through BW.

Only people still watching the anime are kids, and the anime general, but they only really use it as an excuse to circlejerk at this point.

Ash should have won t he sinnoh league. He deserved so much better than what he got. His legacy will always be that he was a incompetant moron. Even if he eventually wins, he will always be seen as a moron, thanks to BW. Sinnoh was his last chance to be redeemed in the fanbase.

I literally dont even watch the anime. Just on off occasionally watching, and if theres good stuff reccomended, ill watch it, and i watch all the movies, but for the most part, i avoid the anime. Its just painful to see the lost potential, and BW was just so bad fuck

Personally? it's really good. Ignoring the dub (obviously) the animation is top notch (it's the Origins team), the writing has improved, Ash is showing his know how from his years of training, Serena actually having an interest in him is completely canon (though we're not sure where it going), he's on his way to a fully evolved team (baring Pikachu). He recently evolved his goodra and had an epic gym battle against Clemont.

Watch it, it's tons of fun
