I finally caught a shiny.

It has terrible IV's, and probably the worst possible nature for a gothitelle (+atk -spd), but hey, shiny!

I've caught several others. Back in the first days of X/Y, I received a shiny Corsola and Tranquil through the GTS, but I didn't know they were shiny since I don't think of these mons enough.

My favorite was when I was looking for stylish shinies and found a pic of shiny seviper. I said to myself, "I'm going to catch a shiny seviper." Later the next day I found one through a friend safari.

Shit's magic yo.

In ORAS, I found two shiny Ralts when trying to get the Synchronizers with all the great natures.

I caught a Tropius and Spinda in Sapphire. Also found a Tentacool but accidentally caused it to faint so it's the one that got away. Other than that, I caught a Vanillite in XY along with a Tailow within the first hour of ORAS out on Route 104.

I've heard horror stories of people seeing a shiny in a horde encounter, and accidentally using a hit-all move that OHKO's them all.

I have several shinies I have obtained thru out the years, but the three I actually caught myself was a gloom in emerald, the slug thing from diamomd( the red version) and a palpitoad in white. All three are evolved.

First one was a shiny Ponyta on HG while grinding for Red. Caught me completely off guard and it looks so cool. It's too bad Rapidash loses its blue flames.

I caught a few other shinies in the friend safari/chain fishing/horde battles, but I also managed to hatch a shiny Honedge at a friend's house while I was telling him mid-sentence about the Masuda Method. I don't think there could have been a much better timing than that.

Not a shiny ditto. A FOREIGN ditto, so I can breed for any shiny I want using the Masuda Method.

Pokemon whose parents are from different countries have a higher chance of being shiny.

Psyduck doesn't have too bad a nature. Rash. It's +SpA at least. Goldeen is mild, so I made the best of it and gave it hyper beam. Horsea 1, now a proud EV trained Kingdra, turned out timid, so I tossed some choice specs on her. Horsea 2 is impish. Considering training.

I want a shiny bisharp with everything in me but I don't have the patience for masuda method. A friend had someone hack me one in gen 5 but it's not the same.

Poocheyena, Wailord, Spinda, Skarmory, Gardevior, Palkia, Cacturne, Tangela, Manectric, Giratina, Kyurem, Regigigas, Hydriegon, Haxorus, Garchomp, Noibat, Noivern, Seadra, Magikarp, Milotic, Sharpedo, Amoongus, Sudowoodo, Magnezone.. uhhh probably some others as well. Most are from ORAS. I like to shiny hunt in my free time.

I agree. Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir is probably the best example of a pokemon whose shiny version looks as good as their non-shiny, while also being visually distinct.

And as a fan of ballet, it tickles me to death that shiny M-gardevoir has a black dress. If I ever get a one, I'm naming it Odile.

The first shiny I ever caught out of randomly being shiny was a Baltoy I caught at Route 111 in Alpha Sapphire.

My friend doesn't believe me because according to him Steven gives you a shiny Baltoy. (I'm not up to this point in the game, please don't spoil it.)

Take a picture of its status screen and show it to him, then. Since you caught it legit, it will say "caught on route 111" and have you as its OT.

At this point, I'm stunned how many random shinies I have. I didn't get my first until Fire Fed (and I was 12 at the time). Fire Ref Kadabra, Sapphire Wingull, Heart Gold Caterpie within the first two hours, White Golbat, a Drifblim in White a week after the Golbat that used explosion because it was a wild double battle and the sleep wore off, and in X, a psyduck in a horde, a weepinbell randomly, two aipom in friend safari, and an Onix using rock smash. Also a scraggy on a Japanese White rom before it came out in the states.

Beyond those, I've soft reset for a Rayquaza and a Darkrai (but the Darkrai won't transfer since it was in Diamond, exploiting the tweaking glitch). Got a chansey, a torchic, and a lotad off the gts. In-game gyarados, dratini, and haxorus. Chain fishing Gyarados, luvdisc, clauncher, clawitzer, and relicanth. DexNav Zorua. Event raikou, Entei, Suicune, Pichu, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.

It's hard to guess IV's on such a low-level pokemon. Do you have a more recent pic?

Here's what I think, though, listing its stats from best to worst:
Sp.Atk is near-perfect. Possible 31 IV.
Sp.Def is average. Maybe a little above average.
Speed is mediocre.
Defense is crap.
Attack is absolutely terrible, and possibly 0.

So yeah, it'd definitely make a better gardevoir than a gallade.

Selman is kind of a faggy name. And learn to rotate your photos, fuckface, or at least rotate your iPhone.

But I've seen a shiny Golem in one of those D/P parts that you have double wild battles. I can't recall if it selfdestructed or if my partner killed it. There was probably one more that I've seen but I can't recall it now.

Tentacool (in a fucking ROM), Zigzagoon, Sandile, Quagsire, Sableye, Pansear, Gastrodon, Wooper, Jigglypuff, Skrelp, Oddish, Ponyta, Mareep, and Sunkern. The first 5 of those were RE's in Black 1 or earlier

Diamond: Another shiny Weepinbell (that was the same nature as the first one), Shiny Steelix, and finally I found a shiny Graveler, but I ran out of Pokeballs and decided to kill it seeing as it didn't have explosion/self destruct

And if it counts, I helped a guy complete his HG/SS Pokedex by trading him a Solrock. He traded me a Shiny Ponyta as thanks. That little guy is currently level 100 and in my ORAS waiting to be transferred up again.

Black: None sadly, but I did trade the shinies I transfered up for. Got a Shiny Pachirisu for the Fearow, and a Shiny Ninetails for the Haunter.

XY/OARS: None other than the ones I have transferred up traded for.

I've got two Zubat. One in Sapphire in Victory Road, which is now a Crobat, and the other in a FireRed nuzlocke in Mt. Moon (broke the rules to catch it, but transferred it out right away into G4).

I've also caught Natu (SS), Makuhita (E), Oddish (P), Rhydon (Pt), Pelipper (S), Vulpix (X), Snubbull (X).

I also traded for a shiny Koffing on GTS. The guy wanted a Wormadam for it, of all things.

My first shiny was a Fearow in Platinum, my second was a Wingull also in Platinum in the same playthrough, my third was a Ledyba in SoulSilver but a reset my game halfway through and forgot it was in there and my fourth shiny was a Bellsprout in a different SoulSilver playthrough.

As far as I'm aware of, my Regigigas is competitively viable. Regigigas has max attack, hp and defense. And has a Careful nature.

First and only shiny. Still haven't transferred it forward because I don't have a Gen 4 to make the connection. I want to make it a seadra, but I fucking hate shiny Kindra despite how cool kingdra looks. Been playing for 15 damn years and only this year do I see my first shiny in a goddamn emulator.

You could've easily injected it while it was a thing, it's very easy to convert it into a Gen 6 legal transferred mon. You can still beg to someone inject it for you on reddit though, if you provide them your .pkm file.
