Let's be real, pokémon X & Y was almost released 2 years ago. GameFreak has intervals of 4 years between each generation, which means we'll get news on Gen VII on endyear 2016.

However, we're still mid 2015, which means either the end of 2015 or the beginning of 2016 will give us the third version of this generation.

Any expectations? Any hopes? I'll just be happy if we get 2 megastones for Zygarde AND a forme change, and a lot of end-game content.

Not the same anon, but I'll take both. I want to see /vp/ erupt when Mega Greninja is confirmed, and I also want to see more Unova Mega Evolutions because, well, I like a lot of Unova Pokemon.

Doable and matches GF's standard:
>Customisation improved
>Gym changes, possible new leaders
>New areas
>Volcanion sidequest of some sort
>New Sinnoh+Unova+Kalos megas including Kalos starters
>Reasonable expansion of the Maison

Doable but unlikely:
>BF of any kind
>PWT
>Soaring
>DexNav alternative
>GTS rework

My own personal wishlist:
>Kanto references replaced by Johto ones eg Tyrogue/Sudowoodo event, starters from Sycamore etc
>A "Southern Kalos" with Pokedex like others have suggested
>Slight change in Pokemon distribution, particularly Pokemon that weren't available in X/Y/OR/AS eg Buneary, Meowth, Blitzle etc
>"Surprise! 70 more new Pokemon!"
>50 new megas at the very least.

Daily reminder that after the legendary spam between XY and ORAS, the next Kalos game(s) will have most if not all Mythical Pokemon available without events like what happened with Deoxys. They've already foreshadowed Genesect being in Glittering Cave.

They need at least 1 anyway though to get people to buy it. You have to have new Pokemon in new games, even if they aren't technically new.

Since ORAS had new megas on top of all the legendaries I doubt the ultimate game of the gen would do any less, they won't stop at just a few new forms for Zygarde.

What I expect:

Imagine a megastone that doubles as an everstone,
That allows you an eevee that is still Normal type, but with evolved form average stats (so it is actually usable like an evolved eevee)

Yes, I need this actually. Makes sense for a dancing Gym Leader to get a Phanpy but Diggersby is an odd choice, but then again Kalos has a shit selection of Ground-type Pokemon and he needs at least one representative of the region. Still Diggersby hardly fits a dancer but it's fat like him so it works, give it Huge Power to make it a threat.
