You chucklefucks are insufferable, don't pull the "blastoise got moves for its mega" because even though it got those three moves, it hasn't changed much aside from a bit more of an offensive presence. Pidgeot on the other hand has gotten a major improvement from what it once was, just be grateful it hasn't been left in the dust.

Hurricane + Heat Wave isn't bad coverage, outside of Rock types (of which there aren't that many around). What lets down is that normal STAB paired with flying is shit and his ability can abuse literally just one move.

But Talonflame can actually beat it's counters with an SD+Natural Gift lure set. And maximum power of the best berries are 100 BP alongside being boosted with SD compared to Pidgeot's paltry 60 BP Hidden Power with only fucking Work Up to boost it. Talonflame isn't a fair comparison faggots

The difference is that, while Natural Gift is much stronger than Hidden Power, it's a one time use, and if misspredict not only you're stuck with no item, but you have a dead move slot, and your counter is still alive, faggot.
Also, I never said that Mega Pidgeot is as good as Talonflame, but being walled by one of the worst type in the game is a no brainer, because, if you don't know, you can use 6 pkmns on a team, and at least two of those can probably come in and remove the stone for good.

Makes sense to me. Falkner gives you Mud Slap, and he trains Pidgeottos, so an upgraded version like Mud Bomb would be very welcome, and makes more sense than Focus Blast ever did.

The problem with M-pigeot is that it will never hit hard enough. It has to run timid to be worth a damn so its special attack will always be lack luster.

It only hits max potential in the sun, too. It NEEDS more tricks to useful. Focus blast will help but it will always lack power.

Actually I had a look and you're correct, there are less Pokemon with Soundproof with the anti-sleep abilities. We just need a way to work around the anti-sleep Pokemon because they would wall Mega Pidgeot.

If Mega Noivern does get Aerilate, it'd only need +25 SpA to match things like Mawile and Kangaskhan megas in damage with Boomburst. Anything beyond that would be overkill.

You mean Ampharos? Sceptile got Dragon Pulse as a tutor since Gen 5. It even got Dragon Pulse through TMs in Gen 4 and Dragon Claw in gen 3 when Dragon was special. Sceptile allways knew special Dragon moves but lacked the STAB boost on them.

mega lop has a better speed tier, stronger unresisted dual stabs and is incredibly versatile due to its massive movepool. it's A+ ranking is not based on power-up punch alone so your argument is plain retarded and i don't know why you're bringing it up
