The only hard thing about XY and ORAS is that if you didn't use EXP share and you have a team of six Pokemon, the Elite Four will be a mugh higher level than you. If you did use EXP share however, you wold be overleveled for every trainer in the game until you come to the E4, which should be about the same level as you.
