>>23268183I usually decide from the team preview. If they have a Scolipede, I lead with something that can obliterate any physical attacker they have, or Scolipede itself, like Choice Band Scizor.
If they do Smeargle, my strategy changes so that I put a fast Volt/Turn mon in front, get that damage so no Sash (or kills if Geo Pass), sack something to the potential Spore, then immediately go to my Pursuit mon to render the pass attempt useless.
Things like that.
