Anyway, I'll give you the story since you fulfilled my request. The server was facing a lot of inactivity with its users, mostly because it reflects the activity of /vp/ and this year so far has been a slow period for news. After the circlejerk developed the decisions went from the threads and the people in the server to the circlejerk because thats all that was left at a few points, and then the decision making stayed within it.
Eventually this all lead to the threads being abandoned, and there was less and less threads, which led to less and less people. Finally, the server was shut down to spend time making new plans for its future.
I don't know when it'll be be back up, but I heard rumors of late Spring or early summer.
