Lack of usage rights, probably. That or the dubbing companies receive the episode assets with the music and voices sharing channels, so you can't change one without changing the other.

Song rights are purchased per song. Maybe the dubbers are just jews and would rather use in-house sound assets than buy rights for all of the JP sounds

Pretty sure it's because of copyright law.

Look at DBZ. The whole reason the Funi dub has Bruce Faulconer's soundtrack was because they couldn't get the Japanese composer's soundtrack.

Then Kai went ahead and tried to use the Japanese soundtrack and faced a fuckhuge lawsuit
