I was young when I played Emerald, and I really liked the whole BF deal, like it was a theme park and an R&R resort. I'm not really into competitive pokemon, and I could never beat anything. I remember my brother beating the Brain and I was just going apeshit. Good times. I'm nos especially eager to see it in ORAS but it'd pretty cool. I've yet to beat the Battle Frontier in Platinum, the subway in BW and the fucking cheating Maison. So... meh.

it was the only reason I would have wanted Hoenn remakes so I could play it with all the new mechanics and Pokemon. But of course Game Freak fucked it up.

remember the previous 2 times they made a battle frontier?
Emerald and Platinum.
Know what they have in common?
Their development started with complete games as a basis. They tweaked those and could put focus on things like a battle frontier.

ORAS were fucking remakes, not a tweaked third version with nothing to work on.

It's just that they also sell the incomplete steps as games so we don't wait 5 years for just a single gen 6 game.

the BF is coming in the next game.. ORAS is pretty clear about that
