Why won't GF give us another Shadow Pokemon console title?
I can picture using a "scan" feature with the Wii U gamepad to check the battlefield for shadow Pokemon by looking around the room with it, rather than just telling you when it is sent in. (Gotta implement it somehow)

It could be for triple/rotation battles what Colosseum and eXtra Dimension were for double battles, focusing on a battle type that was in that generation's handheld games, but not prevalent.

Nah. A Orre sequel with double battles is way better.
Ardos as the new Cipher boss and exclusive moves for Shadow Pokémon like XD.

Make some battles triple/rotation but it should be primarily doubles.
The way you want to use the gamepad sounds gimmicky. Maybe use it in some amie like feature where you can use it as a way to purify shadow pokemon.

GF didn't make the Shadow Pokemon games, Genius Sonority did. You know, the people responsible for Shuffle. At this point, some other developer should make a console Pokemon game.

Shadow Victini being used as a power source by Cipher.

Areas where SV has been held will be affected by a large amount of Shadow energy contamination; this creates entire zones bordering between the normal Orre region and the Distortion World. Due to the twisted reality in these areas, all encounters are treated as Inverse Battles. The game could have a possible Giratina encounter after the main story is completed.

Shadow would be literally the worst type in the game.

.5x damage to any single type non-Shadow pokemon, .25x damage to any dual types

2x damage to shadow pokemon.

Which means you can't always rely on throwing out a Shadow 'mon to deal with an opponent and, if you're facing a Shadow target, you need to be mindful of your damage.
