I don't see any appeal in most of the canine Pokemon or other most competitive and iconic. I still don't own a Weavile, Mismagius, Lucario, Garchomp, Tyranitar in my Gen4 games despite having all the possibilities and items to obtain them, some Pokemon are just boring to use.
Manectric and Houndoom are kinda interesting now in Gen6 even without their megas thanks to better movepools and properly working abilities
Would probably give a chance tk this edgedog.
But by my experience I rarely use Fire type Polemon in my ingame runs and competitively, first because some are not interesting, second because tons of common weaknesses and third average bulk is very poor for ingame runs were you can afford a proper EVsing and movepool building. Some of these are also rare. Finally Fire starters are almost overall shit by either viability or design.
