You know, I don't play pokemon. I tried it once as a kid and stopped, because I didn't enjoy it. I didn't like the turn based battles, and almost never have in any game I've played with them in them. But you know, I liked the show. I like anime in general, as well as animals, so the show was cool to me. I like pokemon as creatures.
Now, for the first time, I decide to come here, on /vp/. I expected a bunch of smut and stuff, and I would be ok with that, but I was surprised. I hardly see anything smutty in the catalog. But then, I saw your post.
"What's the quickest way to increase a pokemons happiness?"
This gave me some emotions. I felt that, maybe you were trying to ask about how to bring joy to a pokemon if they were real. Maybe, you wanted to form a headcannon where you were honestly kind and made great friends with a pokemon. Maybe you wanted to spend all day writing fanfiction that ended up in lucario sex, I didn't know.
Then, I saw the next line.
"Soothe bell + luxury ball + bicycling?"
Somehow, as soon as I read that, I became disappointed in you. Some may not understand, but when I realised that instead of talking about caring for a pokemon, and you were instead talking about statistics, and about how to make a virtual character from a game for little kids get a higher stat in the most effective way possible, trying to get these virtual characters to like you, I became disappointed.
