Carnivine is one of those really slow pokemon with terrible bulk but high-ish offenses. I don't think Arena Trap would bode well for it.

If anything Filter or Refrigerate if you feel gentle, but GF would give Snow Cloak or Angry Point. Honestly Levitate makes it a better spinner and Ground type punisher.

I was thinking that with such lopsided stats, Cryogonal would be in a weird position to actually get use out of most other abilities, so I threw on something that it could actually get good use out of like Levitate.

It has been a support mon singe the beginning, mostly focused on doubles if you take a look at the rest of its movepool.

It's Japanese name might be Booster but I doubt it has anything to do with the ability that came two gens later.

Fur Coat would kinda help, but so would Flame Body or Reckless. But stats wise only Fur Coat would help it with those bulk and HP since even with a Speed buff its best offensive strat would be Flare Blitz and tons of reco plus eventual LO and SR damage. A role that is performed better by Entei, Arcanine, Infernape, Charizard, Emboar, Darmanitan and even Magmortar. I'd rather use it as Lava Plume poor man cleric.

That sounds pretty nice actually. A defensive pure fire type that has a fuckhuge attack stat and can't get the attack drop from burn, has clerical options, and healing

Now if only GF could just make Incognito Boulders do a flat 12.5% damage to non-flying types and 25% to flying types
