Oh you actually OHKO almost everything with these moves now? Doesn't matter since it gives the opponent a set up turn to sweep your whole team.

Why? Earthquake has 100 BP, if you gave those moves 180 BP it would be 90BP per turn.Seems fair to me

Not lookin' so good anon. These moves would be crazy powerful, force people to pack certain Steel/Rock types or something for anything, and create a bunch of guessing games. Eesh.

Also, Aurorus can actually deal with Return/DD/Roost/Substitute and Return/DD/Roost/Refresh Salamence pretty well, but it's a pretty small niche, anon.

Nah, that's just a bad misprediction. Standard game, I'm just saying that this makes the moves good but not so good that they're broken.

They would be broken, though.
In fact, in that kind of scenario, you could base a whole hyper-offensive team against it and have teammates dedicated to removing resists like Heatran. It would be really difficult to deal with and a bit centralizing. I know I can't prove it here, especially on /vp/, but oh well.

You do know that Earthquake exists, right? Some dragons even carry Fighting/Steel moves...

Protect becomes two turns for you, has actual use in singles, steels become the new meta
Substitute comes back from being shitty after everything and their mother started slipping passing it.
