Mega Evolution is supposed to be the "ultimate" final form of a pokemon, the very zenith of its metamorphosis. In that sense, Mega Evolution wouldn't make logical sense for NFE pokemon.

Not that it would stop Gamefreak, mind you.

Nice one, maybe the ability could change his Hidden Power into one of the following attacks, all learned by level up by his evolutions:

- Muddy Water
- Discharge
- Lava Plume
- Psychic
- Giga Drain
- Icy Wind
- Moonblast
- [something from Umbreon?]

It would perform the attack most effective in terms of type to the opponent.

Outside of Pikachu because Pikachu, I feel like Scyther's the most viable candidate for a NFE mega. It's got the same BST as Scizor, which is the only reason I see that working. It's not necessarily a weaker pokemon than it's evolution in that regard, just fills a different niche.
